Solid and Long Lasting
Both of my HealthMates are over 20 years old. I have run them 24 hours a day , they are off only when the power goes out or its time for a filter change. I have used them both in my medical office and at home. They have survived being in 14 inches of water twice, only needing a filter replacement- brilliant that the motor is on top! Never any plastic off-gassing when brand new, nothing has ever broken. And , of course, they have filtered a variety of pollutants effectively and quickly. What more needs to be said?

The Austin Air HealthMate® Filter is our originally designed filter that contains a blend of activated carbon and zeolite capable of absorbing chemicals, odors and gases as well as true medical grade HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance). The HEPA in this filter traps 99.97% of all particles down to 0.3 microns in size. Today this is still our most popular unit as it addresses the most general of indoor air quality concerns.
